Welcome to all who have reached the LakeShore Retreat website.  Welcome to the Lakeshore Retreat. A three-day retreat featuring a unique collection of speakers, meetings, workshops, and activities. The Lakeshore Retreat Committee is made up of gay and lesbian members of ALCOHOLICS ANONYMOUS in the Puget Sound. Hello my name is Bill W. and I have been given the opportunity to be the chairman for the Lakeshore this year. Many of you know me as the cook the last 5 years. But this year we will be enjoying the culinary talents of Mary R. There has been some other changes in the line up of board members: Jeromy W, Marty S., Andrew M., Tom W, and Eric Z have remained and Brian M as well as John S. have returned and Walker M joined the board of directors. This is a great line up of talent that promises to give us a great weekend of recovery, fellowship and fun. We are working on a new line up of speakers, workshops and other activities. We hope to provide you with a weekend of experience to remember. We have launched a facebook page “LAKE SHORE RETREAT” look us up and become a fan. Get up updates on the Retreat and Pasta dinner-speaker meeting. Join us on our trips to visit meetings around the Puget Sound area. So keep up with us and let us know your ideas. We are open to all input to make Lakeshore a weekend to remember and fun for all. So we will see you soon and look forward to sharing another year of fellowship and recovery with you.
